Welcome to the world, Ella Sache Eastoe! Maddie's first child was born on 20 April 2009, weighing in at a healthy 4lbs, 13oz. Congratulations to Maddie and husband Tim Harbour!

29 September - OMG I saw Mao's tonight, it is such an amazing movie!!! It's really well done and not sensationalised, despite being such a dramatic story - and Maddie is so great in it! Her American accent is really good and she's so cute :) Highly recommended to everyone, it's released on Thursday!

28 September - There are some gorgeous movie stills and a video interview with Maddie up on the Mao's Last Dancer official site. Maddie talks about how the role of Lori and how she learnt an American accent for the role. She's such a beautiful spirit! Also, they extended the trailer and there's a tiny scene of Lori and Li (Maddie and Chi Cao) which is cute! Make sure you check out the movie stills and screencaps here. Can't wait to see the movie tomorrow! Finally! And for everyone else, the official release is this Thursday 1 October :)

22 September - The Today Show did an interview with Li Cunxin (author of the book Mao's Last Dancer) this morning, and they showed new scenes from the movie! In one scene there is a tiny glimpse of Maddie (Lori) in the audience watching Chi Cao (Li) perform. She looks beautiful as always. I'm going to an early screening of the movie next Tuesday, can't wait!!! Maddie is currently over in the US with Tim and Ella (who is 5 months old now!) with Morphoses/The Wheeldon Company.

20 September - Announcing The Australian Ballet's exciting 2010 Season!! Especially can't wait to see Peter Wright's The Nutcracker again, last time I saw Maddie as Clara and it was just magical! Maddie stars in a new promotional video for the ballet, check it out here! Also added some gorgeous photos from the 2007 season and one from Wa last year. Enjoy! Not long now till Mao's is released!!! :)

28 August - Sorry for the lack of updates, but more exciting news! The release date for Mao's Last Dancer is 1st October, and the trailer looks amazing!! Looks like Maddie's in a Swan Lake scene, yay! And the countdown for Mads' silver screen debut begins.... :)
